This is how we work Intercity Hotels, making our policies and competitive advantages available in a transparent way so you can be prepared and avoid unpleasant surprises on your trip.

What is the check in time

The daily stay at the hotel starts from 2pm and closes at 12pm the following day for all Intercity hotels, except for Intercity Cuiabá, for this hotel the check-in starts at 12pm and check-out closes at 12pm. Early check-in and late check-out is available upon request and is based on availability and there may be an extra fee charged.

What is included in the reservation?

Reservations include breakfast served in the hotel restaurant and free Wi-Fi.
Child up to the age of 7 stay for free, as long as they sleep in the same bed as their parents.
In case of need for extra accommodations (such as a cot, extra bed and sofa bed), please consult the hotel about the availability and about the rate applied for the period.

Is the presentation of ID Documents necessary at check-in?

An identification document with a photo is mandatory at check-in.
It is prohibited to host a child or adolescent under 18 years of age, without parental authorization that has been registered at a notary's office, and according to Law No. 12.038, it is mandatory to present an identification document for children and adolescents at the time of check-in.

What are the accepted methods of payment?

Payments can be made in cash or credit card.
The total amount of your stay will be charged at check-in and any extra charges will be automatically debited to the credit card that was presented and validated upon check-in.
We accept the following brands: Visa, MasterCard, Elo and American Express.
Rest assured that all personal details and credit card details are encrypted. ;)

Can I pay for my stay in installments?

If the cost of your stay is above BRL 200.00 it can be divided into 3x installments, except at Yoo2Rio hotel that is above BRL 1000.00.

Can I cancel my reservation?

You may cancel up to 24 hours before your check-in time.
Reservations that are not cancelled within the necessary time-frame, or when the guest does not arrive, they will be charged as no-shows (amount equal to one daily rate).
Reservations made through travel agencies must be canceled online in the system itself.

Is it possible to smoke in the hotel?

All our hotels are 100% non-smoking. If it is found that you were smoking in the room, you will be charged a fee equivalent to the amount of one night's stay.

Can I stay with my pets?

Yes. At Intercity hotels, check here, each apartment can host up to 1 pet (dog or cat), small breed (up to 35cm in height and 15kg in weight). The owner must present the updated vaccination card. When making your reservation, be sure to include your pet’s reservation. Intercity Hotels BRL 70.00 per day, Hotel Nacional Distributed by Intercity BRL 90.00 + 10% per day and Hotel Yoo2 Rio de Janeiro BRL 100.00 per stay.
