NETWORK POLICIES
This is how we work InterCity smart hotels, making our policies and competitive advantages available in a transparent way so you can be prepared and avoid unpleasant surprises on your trip.
- Check-in and check-out at InterCity hotels in Brazil is at 12pm. In InterCity Premium Montevideo hotel check-in is at 2pm and check-out at 12pm. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged subject to availability and payment of an extra charge;
- Cancellation must be done at least 24 hours before the check-in date, respecting this period will prevent a no-show from being charged;
- For online reservations, cancellation must be requested at least 48 hours before the check-in date – respecting this period will prevent a no-show from being charged;
- A rate corresponding to the first day of stay will be charged in order to make the reservation in Bavaria Sport Hotel;
- Online reservations, for private customers, travel agencies and other businesses made on the Smart Web Portal should be cancelled online using the system itself;
- Reservations that are not cancelled within the necessary time-frame, in which the guest does not arrive, will be charged as no-shows (one daily rate);
- NOTE: Reservations for the period of Christmas and New Year have special conditions regarding cancellations and modifications and may also require payment in advance. To obtain more information, please do contact us;
- Children and teenagers under 18 years old cannot be checked at the hotel unless they have an express authorization (notarial authorization of parents) or are accompanied by parents or person in charge (as per Law 8.069 of the ECA). If they are accompanied, their identification document must be presented at the check in (as per Law 12.038);
- One child under 07 years old is not charged if sharing the room and bed with his parents. In case extra beds (crib, extra bed, sofa bed) are required, parents should check on availability and applicable fee at the hotel;
- An extra fee will be charged for a third guest to stay in the room;
- 10% commissions on the price of daily stays for travel agencies registered on the network (except NET agreements);
- On the Smart Web Portal, you can make reservations via direct payment, pre-payment or invoice, if you have been approved for credit with InterCity;
- For travel agencies registered with the network and that have a commissioning ageement, reservations made on the corporate sales channels will receive a 10% commission on the daily rates;
- During large event and/or high demand periods, for travel agencies and businesses the corporate rates will not be available for sale and will be replaced by event rates and/or the BAR (best available rate) determined by the hotels;
- Reservations of more than 10 rooms will be considered group bookings and should be requested directly with the respective hotel’s events sector;
- During periods of large events and/or high demand periods, hotels may require special payment conditions;
- A daily stay at InterCity hotels includes breakfast served in the hotel restaurant.
